Vaishali Kasture
MD & CEO Experian
Who am I
Vaishali Kasture, the Co-founder of Sonder Connect is a
seasoned Banking and Financial services professional with 25 years of
experience. She has worked for MNCs like Citibank, Infosys and Goldman Sachs.
She has also been the India CEO and MD for Experian.
Vaishali started her career at Citibank where she was a part
of the worldwide securities services (custodial services) and set up a team for
India in 1993. She went on to join MPHASIS in Tokyo as Senior Project Manager,
after which she became a Senior Investment Consultant at Bridge-water Ltd, Hong
Kong.
At Infosys, Vaishali played an integral role in setting up
the BCM unit and grew the business from 7 MM $ to 50 MM$ in 3 years thus being recognized as the best end-to-end Service Provider in the Banking Domain by
“The Black Book of Outsourcing”.
She is also an avid Marathoner and the first Indian woman to
complete all 6 world major marathons. She is passionate about gender diversity
and is the co-founder of Sonder Connect, a not-for-profit organization that
mentors women founders. But Vaishali made sure to strike a balance and pursued
her penchant for fitness and well being as avidly as her career.
