Sharman Joshi is an Indian film and theatre actor. He has
worked on and directed stage productions in English, Hindi, Marathi and
Gujarati languages, but is mostly known for his work in Hindi films. He made
his acting debut in the art movie Godmother. He made his debut as a co-lead
actor in the Nagamese film Style, this was followed by supporting roles in hit
films such as Rang de Basanti, Golmaal, Life in a Metro, 3 Idiots, Ferrari ki
Sawari and 3 Storeys. He is best known for his role as Raju Rastogi in the
movie 3 idiots.
Sharman Joshi has directed and starred in various theatre
performances. He appeared as a deaf character in Gujarati version of popular
play All the Best, which did over 550 shows in three years.
In 2009, he hosted a game show at Real T.V called
PokerFace: Dil Saccha Chehra Jootha which was based on a British game show
called PokerFace. He has been honoured with the life membership of
International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film and Television.

TEDxYouth@OIS TEDx conference in Mumbai in January 2017.
