Nandan Reddy
Co-founder of Swiggy
Who am I
Co-founder of Swiggy. Nandan Reddy is a BITS Pilani alumnus
and has previously worked as a consultant and has built another start-up around
a tablet-based POS for restaurants. He has been a part of the core management
team at Source Pilani, India's first rural BPO.
Swiggy is India's largest and most valuable online food
delivering app and delivery platform. Founded in 2014, Swiggy is based out of
Banlore, India and, as of March 2019, was operating out of 100 Indian cities.
In early 2019, Swiggy expanded into general product deliveries, under the brand
name Swiggy Stores. In September 2019, Swiggy launched instant pick up and drop
service Swiggy Go.
The dream of making online food delivery app started in
August 2014 for Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy and Rahul Jaimini. After failing
in their previous ventures, this time they tried their luck with an online food
delivery company Swiggy.
Reddy has also worked with Intellecap as Associate –
Business Consulting, IDinsight as External Consultant, Zurna as Founding
Partner and Galla as Founder.
