Karl Burrows

Who am I
Karl works with senior management teams and companies to help teams work better together. As a sought after speaker and workshop presenter, where he shares and applies Maori cultural knowledge with its emphasis on connectedness and togetherness to help build teams and embrace and implement values.
Karl says: "While the methodology has specific cultural origins, I work on the premise that we all have the same capacity to draw on the energy and power that resides within and that we can share this capacity with others to enhance group power and effectiveness. I teach how to engage this energy and share it with others in a unique and accessible way."
Karl Burrows is a founding partner of Manaia and the General Manager of the company. Karl has an MBA from Cranfield University. He was a practicing commercial lawyer in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom before starting up Manaia with friends in 2005.
He is an experienced performer of kapa haka (Maori cultural performance), a student of tikanga Maori (Maori culture) and is passionate about sharing Maori culture with the world and creating opportunities for Maori to learn from international experiences.
