Ramgopal (RamG) Vallath is the most positive individual he has ever met in
RamG was blessed
with success after success for the first 34 years of his life. Admission to IIT
– the top tech institute in the country with a rank of 129 out of 300,000
aspirants; MBA from the top business school in the country; and a career path
that was scorching.
At the height of
his successful corporate career, at 34, as the youngest Telecom Circle Head in
India, RamG was stricken down by a rare autoimmune disorder that crippled him
and made it difficult for him to use his hands and legs. RamG continued to
successfully hold down tough and complex jobs such as Director Tech Support at
Dell and Director Operations at HP, over seven years of progressively
deteriorating condition. Finally he managed to search out a possible cure in
the US – a clinical trial using Stem Cell Transplant procedure.
the treatment, shot full of chemo, hamster extracts and rabbit extracts, he conceived
the plot for a wacky, hilarious science fiction, ‘Oops the Mighty Gurgle’,
targeted at an age group of 9 to 99. The positive energy he derived from
writing the book also helped him in his recovery, even while he pushed himself,
working out 3 hours a day to build back lost muscles.
RamG’s second book,
his humorous autobiography- ‘From Ouch to Oops’ was published in November 2014
and instantly became a bestseller.
Today, RamG is a
motivational speaker and has addressed tens of thousands of corporate employees.Thanks to his vast experience in various
functions at CXO level– Sales& Marketing, Customer Service, Quality and
Business Processes, General Management etc.- in some of the biggest and best
companies in the world as well as in startups. Also, thanks to his experience
as a coach, mentor and trainer, RamG is able to engage audiences ranging from
global leadership teams of fortune 500 companies to fresh recruits in IT
companies with equal impact.
