one of the key words that the current Rugby World Champions have used for many
years. To be arguably the greatest sports team ever you need both mental
agility and physical agility. The All Blacks over the last 120 years have had
both in abundance.
Blacks jersey captures all that is great about the culture of this wonderful
organisation. Over the last 100 years or so it has transformed from a makeshift
garment with laces at the neck to the modern, sweat-wicking, tight fitting gladiatorial
armour of today, but at the heart it remains the same. A symbol of excellence,
agility, hard work and a New Zealand ability to become, with effort, sacrifice
skill, the BEST in the world.
Sean is the Vice-Chairman and Academy Member of the Laureus Sports Foundation. He was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit by the Governor General in 1997. At the end of 1999, Fitzpatrick was named as hooker in Rugby World magazine’s Team of the Century.
Sean is still very much involved in rugby, he is currently an author and journalist to various international publications, as well as a pundit on Sky Sports and ITV.
Sean has authored a book 'Winning Matters'
Winning Matters is a fascinating insight into the mind of a legend. In a candid, conversational tone, Fitzpatrick reflects on the key moments and meetings of his life, identifying everyday values, beliefs and principles that have driven him, both on and off the pitch. Part autobiography, part self-help, part business how-to, Winning Matters offers the reader an understanding of what makes Fitzpatrick tick - his strategies for success in all aspects of life, and how we can all learn from them. It is an easy but inspirational guide to being the best we can be.
Sean has lived in London for the past 9 years with his wife and two daughters.
When Speaking Minds was founded in 2007 in New Zealand, little did we envisage that this would grow into an international brand with offices in India and London in less than a decade. We set up the business to share what we had learnt, from the privileges we have had in our jobs – of access to knowledge.
Bringing India to the rest of the world was our driving force.
The dna of our business is genuinely about sharing knowledge with the
world, from thought leaders and experts who are notable achievers in
their field. Raga D'silva quit her highly successful corporate career in
New Zealand in 2007, to set up a dream business of connecting
knowledge, insights, motivation from exceptional talent with the
corporate world, globally.
