ONIR is a celebrated Indian film and TV director, editor,
screenwriter and producer.
A pioneer in independent film-making in India. He shot to fame with
a his film - My Brother... Nikhil whose critical success inspired many other
filmmakers to take the indie route. Over the next few years, Onir continued to
experiment with films such as Bas Ek Pal and Sorry Bhai! before finally making
the highly acclaimed I Am in the year 2011, which won him the prestigious

When Speaking Minds was founded in 2007 in New Zealand, little did we envisage that this would grow into an international brand with offices in India and London in less than a decade.
